Delay in Sync

Some SMSs not being delivered

Today March 24th, some Emails and SMSs were being flagged inadvertently as spam. Emails are back to normal again as of 6pm Pacific. Some SMSs are still being flagged, and we are working with carriers to resolve this issue. Update March 26th 9am PT We continue to have SOME deliverability issues with SMS's. Its intermittent and we are working with upstream carriers to resolve this. Our engineers are very aware of the situation and doing everything we can to mitigate this as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience in the matter. Update March 27th 5:30p PT We are still having some SMS deliverability issues with T-Mobile specifically. These issues are being addressed and we expect full resolution on this by tomorrow. We are working with the carriers with the utmost urgency. We apologize for the inconvenience. Update: April 1st Most all delivery issues are resolved. In some rare cases deliveries to TMobile customers are still a bit delayed. We are working with our Carriers to fully resolve this. We expect permanent resolution on this in the next few days. Update: April 3rd All SMS Issues should be fully resolved. SMS/Email Delays in Delivery

We are currently experiencing delays in Email and SMS Delivery of up to 1hr or so. Engineers are working on the issue. Thank you for your patience. 12:25pm PT - we continue to work with the queue. Latency is coming down but will likely take another couple of hours before it comes back down to normal. 1:30pm PT - Things are back to normal operating conditions. High system load was causing delays. We are still evaluating root causes to avoid such issues in the future.

Site Wide Outage - Resolved

Total Outage Time 44 minutes. Root Cause was a botched configuration that Microsoft Azure rolled out to one of its primary Regions (GReminders relies on Azure for its Cloud Hosting Infrastructure). The issue was identified by Microsoft and resolved. The issue affected many services https://www.cnn.com/2024/07/18/business/frontier-airlines-microsoft-outage/index.html and was further confused by a botched update from Crowdstrike causing issues to Windows machines (we do not run Windows or Crowdstrike). Our team is working with Microsoft to understand the incident in more detail to ensure that future events like this are mitigated. 4:07pm PT All Systems are back online. We are working with Microsoft to work through root cause issues. More coming on this. 3:53pm PT Microsoft has acknowledged the issues, and are working on a resolution. 3:30pm PT Our Services with Microsoft Azure are experiencing an outage, we are working with Microsoft to resolve the issue. More shortly. 3:03pm - 3:10pm PT GReminders experienced a 7 minute site wide outage. This was caused by our primary hosting provider, we are working with them.

Messages Delayed

Some SMS and Email Messages were delayed between 2:55pm and 10:00pm Pacific time today. This was caused by a partial code release that didnt propagate properly to all our infrastructure. The root cause issue has been identified and resolved.

Redtail CRM Connections are having problems

2/27 7:35am - Redtail API has been restored. This incident should now be fully resolved. If you continue to see any issues here please contact support@greminders.com. 2/27 7:00am - Redtail has confirmed the problem and is working on a fix. We will post updates here as we get more information from Redtail. 2/26 8:50pm - The issue seems to be with Redtail API Authentication. We have opened a ticket with Redtail. 2/26 6:40pm - All Connections to Redtail CRM/Calendar are having trouble. We are investigating the situation and will post an update soon.

Users of Redtail Calendar may experience booking errors with GReminders because Redtail Infrastructure is undergoing maintenance between February 16th, 6:00 PM PDT and Monday, February 19th, 6:00 PM PDT. Google Calendar experiencing Server Errors

We are currently experiencing some delays in Google Calendar Sync. Up to 1-2 hours of latency in some cases for Google Calendar Users. We are investigating the issue and expect to have this resolved soon. This issue is resolved, we are still investigating the root cause. Aug 10: We believe we have identified the root cause of the latency issues and have deployed a patch. We will continue to monitor the situation.

Calendar Sync is a bit delayed

New Events / Updated Events may take up to 2 hours to reflect in GReminders, we are working through some delays in the sync. Everything is operational but just a bit delayed. We experienced some delays in getting Google Calendars updates to sync. This is currently being resolved, everything should be up to date and syncs should be back to real time by 2-3p Pacific time today (estimate). SMS Reminders Skipped or Delayed

Due to some heavy maintenance jobs (ironically to keep the system performant), we slowed the system down due this maintenance and caused some Reminders to be skipped or delayed. The backlog has been processed and everything should be back to normal. The notifications that were skipped will not be delivered because they were skipped since the event start date/time has passed. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Confirmation Emails and SMS Delayed
